This success has also formed another collaboration between Rovelli and Triumph; the creation of the Triumph ParkinGO European Series, that'll contest seven European rounds alongside the World Superbike championship, with the riders all on equally prepared Triumph Street Triple R's (more on that in the accompanying sidebar).Spurred by that success, 2010 sees the team expand to a four rider lineup of David Salom, Matthew Legrive, and two AMA refugees-Chaz Davies and Jason DiSalvo-all vying for the championship.

There are sope interesting things going on with Phantom Manufacturing. First, they have a new "auto-incandescent kiosk thingy," also known as a website. Here is a purty picture of their EG model:

Accordng to them, each bike is "designed "as an homage to those amazing machines that spunky gentlemen (and ladies) used to set speed records at Brooklands and board track racer circuits back in the 1920s." Um. Yeah.... They're also pricey commissioned pieces of ridable art.

Phantom has a rich history you can check out here, where you can read how Erasmus Thump, Titus Bottomly, Enoch Podsnap and Mrs. Mabel Ramsbottom started the organization in the Spring of 1919. Mabel is still alive, I think. The others are dead. I think.

It also seems that a ghost or two is informing the creation of this brand directly to Mabel though spooky means. Funny stuff. She must be a hoot at a tea party.
